Simon Nicholson has extensive experience in Sales, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business Development and Business Management both domestically and Internationally in the Technology, Electronics, Engineering and Semiconductors markets in sectors such as mid IR Laser Spectroscopy, Li ion technology, AR, VR and Simulation systems. Having held senior roles as Business Development Director, VP of Sales Europe, Sales and Marketing Director in a number of start ups, SME’s, blue chip electronics and world leading technology companies. He holds an HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering (University of Derby), CIM, DipM, FCIM, MBA (Distinction) Strathclyde Business School.
Thomas McAlinden (BA Hons, MSc, MBA, MCIM, Chartered Marketer) is a specialist in marketing and strategy. He holds a BA Hons in Marketing; an MSc in International Marketing with Distinction as well as MBA with Distinction all from Strathclyde Business School and he is also CIM qualified having been awarded Chartered Marketer status in 2011. He has held numerous roles in Digital marketing, International marketing and Brand management. Thomas is an enthusiastic and ambitious marketer and strategy professional with excellent interpersonal skills who adopts a strong analytical approach to problem solving and to the develop of strategies to improve business performance.
Colin Andrews has extensive experience and is a specialist in supporting SME’s (Small and Medium Sized Enterprises) in order to increase their competitive capability. He holds a Batchelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (University of Edinburgh) and a Master’s degree in Business (University of Strathclyde). Colin’s career has been in business improvement management, taking the learning of his early years on Japanese car industry approaches to product development, quality and manufacturing into other industries such as oil and gas, electronics and pharmaceuticals. Colin has worked on a number of key programmes in Operations Excellence including the Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt courses, Santander Growth Advantage Programme and the Growth500 Programme run by the Centre for Engineering Education and Development (CeeD).
Paul Myerscough has many years’ experience leading, growing and improving both large and small industrial and technical product companies. Paul has led diagnostics, strategic reviews, competitiveness improvement and business change programmes, managed projects and introduced new products, along with championing process improvement, operational & project best practice and the coaching of executives. He holds a Batchelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration (Lancaster University), MSc Engineering Business Management (University of Bristol). Paul combines his real life experience with expertise in best practice, systems thinking, people engagement and Lean Six Sigma approaches.
Stelios Zyglidopoulos is a Reader in Management at the Adam Smith Business School of the University of Glasgow and Associate Fellow of Homerton College, University of Cambridge. He holds a PhD in Strategy and Organization from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Prior to his current position, he has held academic positions at the Cambridge Judge Business School, Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, USA and Erasmus University, the Netherlands. Stelios is Section Editor for the Journal of Business Ethics and Associate Editor for the Journal of Management Inquiry.
David Fidalgo (BA Hons, MSc) is a fast thinking, hands on individual who is a specialist in product development and new business models which support the development of products that build the mobility & connectivity solutions of the future. He holds a BA Hons in Mechanical Engineering from Coventry University and an MSc in Automotive Product Engineering from Cranfield University.
He has held numerous senior management roles in the Automotive and Mobility industry working with corporates, accelerators and entrepreneurs on innovative value creation projects in the PLM, Big Data, Mobility, Connected Car, EV Propulsion Systems, Autonomous Driving, Smart Grid and Embedded Systems.
David is a forward thinking, ambitious, strategy management professional with excellent interpersonal skills who adopts a clear, analytical approach to problem solving.
James Cornelius is a strategic thinker with a BA Hons degree in Mathematics and Computing, specialist field in Quality Management systems IS09000 and MS Project, Qualified Training Assessor, Internal Verifier, with a passion for Project Delivery and Project Management dissemination. James has designed quality management systems, delivered project plans and training courses for leading organisations such as Rolls Royce, Ford Motor Company, Volvo, Morgan Stanley, World Pay, Johnson Matthey, Glaxo Smiths Kline. James is an expert in systems and data processing development and specialises in evaluating and analyzing data from which he is able to create valuable insight.
Zoe Walton holds a BA Hons degree in Law and has extensive commercial and business development experience across a range of industry sectors. Furthermore she has extensive insight into the UK funding routes/channels such as "Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, "Industrial 4.0", "The Made Smarter Review". She specialises in aligning business with collaboration partners within the emerging technologies sector and the digital tech sector. She takes a practical approach in enabling business to adopt and integrate technology into their organisations eg. EV, eMobility, CAV, Autonomous Vehicle.
